In the casting for the upcoming HBO original series that is supposedly meant to be a "faithful" adaptation of the Harry Potter series, rumor has been circulating that the character of Severus Snape, originally played by legendary actor Alan Rickman, is going to be played by black actor Paapa Essiedu, and Harry Potter fans are up in arms about the potential change.
