The Langdon series from NBC is moving to the network's streaming service Peacock. What does this mean for the show?
Probably good things! NBC is looking for a flagship original series for its Peacock streaming service, and it seems as though the Langdon series has the potential to be that very show!
Based on Dan Brown's character of Robert Langdon from his hit books The Davinci Code and Angels and Demons, the show is based on his book The Lost Symbol. Previously, Tom Hanks played the character in the movies, but for the NBC series, the role is being filled by actor Ashley Zukerman.
The Robert Langdon series is one of the most popular thriller series in the world, with the Robert Langdon Saga selling millions of copies worldwide. But will the TV show be the hit NBC needs to get people to subscribe to Peacock?
