Despite the Star Wars franchise being in the worst place it's ever been in years, Kathleen Kennedy and Lucasfilm still keep greenlighting TV shows no one wants.
The latest news is that Donald Glover will be reprising his role as Lando Calrissian from Solo A Star Wars Story in a new Disney Plus series to be written by him after the previous showrunner quit. This comes off the heels of rumors about Star Wars The Acolyte having massive production and budgetary troubles, and the failure of Andor and The Mandalorian Season 3 among fans.
Not to mention Disney is losing money hand-over-fist and cutting back on production as we speak. Will Lando be able to right the Lucasfilm ship, or will it just further the steady decline of this once beloved IP? Let us know what you think in the comments!
