With Matt Reeve's The Batman 2 in production, many speculated that James Gunn would keep his Batman for a later phase of his DCEU rollout so as not to have competing Batman projects going on at the same time.
NOPE!
Turns out we're getting Batman The Brave And The Bold, which will center around Batman and his relationship with his biological son Damien Wayne, the new Robin. Gunn says this will begin introducing audiences to the bigger "Batverse" that includes not only Batman's rogues gallery, but also the street-level heroes he inspires and teams up with. No word on who will be playing Gunn's Batman just yet, though.
