Amazon has announced that it is turning the classic Bioware video game Mass Effect into a new original TV series. After the success of the Fallout show, Amazon is looking for new IPs it can adapt to get not only the video game crowd, but also the science fiction crowd that's hungry for new and exciting franchises to bite into.
However, as the HALO show on Paramount+ has shown us, these aren't always home runs, and there's the possibility that Amazon could really screw up a Mass Effect adaptation. The Salty Nerds discuss and speculate!
